Fun Week with Kyler

Dalin's friend Kyler Ross came into town on June 30th and stayed with us until July 7th.  We had such a good time.  Dalin's parents also came into town the 30th and stayed until the 2nd, and we got to see Dalin's sister Becky and her family.  It was AWESOME!!
Sunday-THEY ALL CAME INTO TOWN:) Amika got a huge nemo fish, and Taelin got a new blanket:) Both were so happy to see Grammy and Papa:)

 Tori and Matt came over for a little while too so they could give Taelin his birthday present:) TAELIN LOVES IT!!!! A BUBBLE GUN!:) THAT LIGHTS UP TOO!:)

This is what we got to do:)
Monday-DALIN'S PROMOTION TO SGT:) SO PROUD OF HIM!!! His family was there, his parents, his sisters family, my brother Micheal's family, and his friend Kyler were all there to support him:)  He also was able to have his Drill Instructor from boot camp (GYNSGT Lashley) pin him.  Super motivating (coming from Dalin).
After his promotion we were able to go to lunch with everyone and then we headed down to La Jolla Cove to play at the beach, see the seals, and go snorkeling.  Dalin, Taelin, Amika and I got washed away by one of the first waves walking down to the beach....it FREAKED Taelin out.....but thankfully after we made a wall, he was fine:) It was fun getting back into the water and snorkeling.  We saw a bunch of fish and some really pretty orange fish.

We hurried home for Taco Salad and then Dalin, Kyler and I went and saw SUPERMAN:) Such a great movie.
Tuesday-BATTALION FUN DAY
Spent the first half of the day at Dalin's Battalion fun day.  The kids got to ride on ponies, get their face painted, jump in bounce houses, play with bubbles, eat free food, and play at a playground.  Dalin and Kyler got free massages, and we all got snow cones and cotton candy.  We all had a great time:) After dinner we went to Yogurtland and got a redbox.

Wednesday
Dalin had to work till around 400pm, so Kyler and I went to the gym, and then took the kids to the pool.  We watched our redbox SNITCH, and then just hung out.
Thursday-4TH OF JULY:)
What a fun holiday! So thankful for the men and women that died for our freedoms and for them that keep this country free.  We were at the beach for A LONG TIME! So many people there.  There was a free kid zone with a bunch of bounce houses that Taelin played on, and the waves were awesome for boggie boarding.  We built the kids a pool, and Dalin and I even got to go out into the ocean together:)  That night we went to our friend Debbie's house to play games, eat junk food, and watch the fireworks:) We played Apples to Apples for a very long time.  Shouldn't have played forever, it took us an hour to get home.

Friday-SEAWORLD!:)
Best day at Seaworld! Love that place.  We stayed from 11-830, and the kids did AWESOME!:) They loved the shows, the rides, and the Sesame Street land.   Loved that Dalin and I got to ride on the ride Atlantis.  I love going on roller coasters, especially if their is water involved:)

Saturday-BEACH
Went to In-N-Out for lunch and then spent 2 hours at the beach, where Amika got washed under a wave, and Kyler and Dalin Boogie Boarded the whole time.  LOVE THE BEACH! Came home and hung out and then got Outback Steakhouse to Go:) Tasted so yummy! Thanks Kyler for dinner!:)
