Another Answer

Have I ever said how much I LOVE prayer? Heavenly Father is ALWAYS there, and is ALWAYS listening.  It just amazes me how much he loves each and every one of His children.  Here is my story about prayer.  The other day Taelin and I were decorating the Christmas tree.  Every ornament Taelin would take out of the box he would get super excited.  He would get super excited about the ones that were his.  As we were coming to an end of the ornaments I noticed we hadn't put on our Okinawa Japan ornament (one of my all time favorites) and I couldn't find it.  Instead of freaking out about it, I asked Taelin if he had seen it.  He said he hadn't.  I then asked if he would help me find it.  We went in the garage to go and see if I left it in one of the boxes out there.  I told Taelin that we needed to say a prayer so Heavenly Father could help us find it.  He said, Thankful....Father...Amen.... (I love his prayers).  I told him we needed to ask for His help in finding this ornament.  We went on looking and couldn't find it.  I really wanted to cry and just give up, but I knew that would not be a good example to Taelin.  So we decided to go inside and just let it go for a while and just listen to some promptings while we were playing.  As we were playing I glanced over by our sliding glass window and the Okinawa ornament was right there!!! AN ANSWER TO OUR PRAYER! I was so excited to show Taelin that I had found it.  He wasn't that excited, but I told him that we then needed to say a prayer of Thanks.  I love these teaching moments with my children.  They sure do strengthen my testimony.
