TRIP TO BOISE FOR CHRISTMAS PART 1

WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER that we got to spend Christmas in Boise!!! Thanks to both families for making it happen!! :) We are truly so grateful for EVERYTHING you guys did!!! We decided to do the trip in 2 days, and thank heavens we did, because it was LONG! We were able to leave Wednesday the 19th when Dalin got home from work.  We hurried and packed up the car, said goodbye to Achilles:( and were on our way to Las Vegas.  We got to Vegas around 8:00pm and boy were we all excited to get out of the car.  We played around and then it was off to bed.  Amika got to sleep in her car seat, and she did GREAT! I am so happy that she LOVES her car seat:)

That morning we woke up around 7:00am and played around and ate some McDonalds that dad had picked up:) Then we were on the BIG drive to BOISE!:) WAHOO!!! The kids did pretty good for how long it was.  I was in the back seat a lot of the time because both of the kids wanted me to play with them.  We were so lucky that the roads weren't bad at all.  We went straight to Dalin's parents and boy were they excited to see the kids, oh and us:) Around 10:00pm we headed to my parents house to sleep and stay for a couple of days.  The kids were so excited to see Grandma and Aunt Net and Aunt Mindy:) We stayed up for about another hour and then it was off to bed:) SO HAPPY to be out of the car:)

The next day it was off to Other Mothers to find some shoes for the kids because I of course forgot to pack some! hahaha Thanks mom for the shoes:) I also got my friend Mikaela her baby shower gift there.  Then we went to the airport to pick up Grandpa:) Boy was Taelin excited!!! When we got home he wanted to play outside with me and Grandpa:)

when we were done playing outside and we all had lunch it was off to Pojos.  We all had a great time.  The boys favorite was the Jurassic Park game, and Taelin really liked the bowling one too.  Amika liked the carasoul and we (the adults) like the ones where we got tickets:)

that night we of course made pizza, and Taelin of course wanted to help:)

wanted to take a little nap by the fireplace in his little sleeping bag (a pillowcase) and use a santa hat for a pillow while dinner was cooking:) 

After dinner we opened up our Christmas presents from the family:) we had such a good time:)

Funny Taelin

I always want to remember funny things my kids say:) here is one from this morning:)
I was about to hop in the shower, and Taelin comes in the bathroom and says, "what doing mom?" I tell him I am going to shower.  He says, "I need shower too, I stink."  While I am laughing I ask him what he smells like and he says he stinks like pee.  Gosh he is so funny! I love this kid!

Amika 11 months old

what the heck!!! Amika is 11 months old??? Where has the time gone? She is seriously so much fun and has such a mind of her own.  I love her so much and couldn't imagine life with out her.  She doesn't mind being woken up, she LOVES her crib and goes down for naps and bedtime so easy, she LOVES any food and will eat anytime she see's food, she is super smart and knows how to open many things, she LOVES to play with her brother, but is also super independent, she has 2 teeth, and is working on 4 on the top, she loves to pat her big belly, she loves her push toys, she recently started taking steps and will walk sometimes, she takes 3 naps a day, sleeps through the night, loves to suck her finger holding her blanket, and says mama, dada, papa, and baba.  We sure do love her:) HAPPY 11 MONTH BIRTHDAY:)
