Taelin wanted to dress up as a cowboy when we went to our stake activity.  he is for sure the cutest cowboy I have ever seen!

Taelins 1st day of Kindergarten

what the heck? 1st day of kindergarten!!!! Taelin was so excited to wear his new clothes, take his new backpack, and wear his new shark shoes.  He didn't give me a hug goodbye:( which made me sad, and he punched Amika when she gave him a hug....which was sad for her....hopefully one day he will come around and will give us hugs.  He was full of smiles when I dropped him off and was happy when I picked him up!:) HAPPY FIRST DAY MY CUTE 5 YR OLD BOY!

Saturday

This is what we got to do on Saturday!:) We started the morning out with getting Rocky his shots, then going school shopping, then swimming, then a birthday party, then dinner at Coco's.  what a fun Saturday!

Amika's hair is getting so long and she even lets me try to french braid it:) I have now only done it 3 times, but am getting better and better with each time.  She has to sit in her chair and watch Curious George while I do her hair.  It's super cute!

taelin starts kindergarten

where did the time go!!! I HAVE A 5 YR OLD WHO IS STARTING KINDERGARTEN TOMORROW! I love him so much and I know that he is going to have so much fun in his class, but I am SOOOOO going to miss him throughout the day.  Last week we got to see who was in his class and he is super excited that he has the same teacher he had last year for preschool:) MS GANUN!:) Jordan, Kallista, Neamiah, Jaralissa, and Karmyn are all in his class.  He got super excited when we got his new Lego Ninjago backpack, and Ninja Turtle water bottle and Ninja Turtle backpack.  He is going to do super awesome in Kindergarten! Taelin you are super smart and so kind and super awesome! Your daddy and I are so proud of who you have become!:)

Our week

I worked out only 4 times this week, but still feel great.  Friday and Saturday were my day's off.  I will be back at it next week.  The kids love going to the gym:) I started running for 20 min before we go to the gym, and I am loving that! I push Amika in the jogging stroller, and Taelin rides his bike.  It's always super fun, and then I can still get in my run as well as my lifting!:)
We spent A LOT of time in the sun this week. We went to the pool 3 times, and the beach 2 times:) The kids are doing so much better around the water, it makes me so happy.  Friday was beach day at Buccaneer beach with 5 other moms from the ward.  Stephanie Alveraz, Whitney Rollins, Amanda Reading, Amera Alo, and another mom all showed up with their kids. It was a BLAST! Taelin ran and ran in the ocean, and he even got blown over by a bunch of the waves and fell into the ocean, and HE LIKED it:) THAT'S A FIRST!! Way to go TAELIN! Amika hated the ocean that day, and I had to hold her anytime she wanted to go near the water. She liked playing with Jace and Charlie in the sand.  Stephanie and I had a fun time swimming in the ocean, the water was so warm!
Today was a lot of fun too! STARTED OFF WITH A CALL FROM DADDY! BEST THING EVER TO HEAR HIS VOICE!!! It rained almost all day long, which was super nice, becasue we need the rain.  We went and ran some errands this morning, and then headed to Oceanside Speech Therapy's family fun day at the park. They had like 5 different jumpy house toys, food, face painting, balloons, and a raffle.  The kids had a blast! Taelin got his face painted like Spiderman:) We stayed there for about 2 hours then finished our errands.  Came home and RELAXED! The kids played, while I took a little snoozer, and then we watched a movie, played, I finished my Super Saturday project that I'm in charge of, made dinner, read, did Taelins words, re-decorated the house by moving some frames around, and played some more.  The kids are in bed and I think I might do some shopping around online for some furniture for our home.  Good night!:)

Today we were watching AN EXTREMELY GOOFY MOVIE, and when the son was leaving for college and his dad (goofy) was crying, Taelin asked me why he was so sad and why he was crying.  I explained to him that he was leaving his house to go to collage, and that one day when he gets old he will leave our house and go to to college. Taelin said, "NOOOOO I don't want to leave our house, I want to live with you forever." I told him that he will be able to live with his friends and that he can come home whenever he wants.  He then said, "but who will be my mommy and daddy?" (gosh this kid cracks me up).  I told him that we would still be his mommy and daddy, but he would just live somewhere else.  He DID NOT like this, and said NO, i'm living with you guys forever!:) GOSH I LOVE MY LITTLE 5 YR OLD TAELIN, and someday when he wants to leave home, I'm showing him this!:)
